Peter Saunders is available to carry out research and writing on a consultancy basis. He also has experience as an expert witness in parliamentary and legal contexts. His core areas of expertise lie in welfare reform, poverty and inequality, and home ownership, both in Britain and in Australia (he is currently based in Britain). His consultancy work has included:

Reports for London think tank, Policy Exchange: a 2007 report on the Australian Job Network; a 2008 report on conditional welfare in Australia; and two 2009 reports, on reforming the UK family tax and welfare system, and on UK child poverty targets
